LongerSouthSide Studio is a Kannada film marketing agency in Bengaluru (Bangalore), Karnataka. It handled the complete marketing for Bail, working directly with KVN Productions, and for KD – The Devil and Mango Pachcha. It also handled marketing for City Lights, working directly with Duniya Vijay. It also runs social campaigns for Ramayana, working directly with DNEG and Monster Mind Creations, and for Lambodhara 2.0. It operates the Namma Sandalwood Kannada film and meme network and provides Kannada film promotion, Karnataka release campaigns for Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi films, creator campaigns, meme marketing and talent PR, with public post-by-post results.

From the latest build of this site. Most dashboards are our network's own coverage of a film, not client work; each case study says which it is.
What we publish and how it is measured
- Every campaign dashboard lists recorded Instagram posts with their numbers and live links, and has its own data.csv.
- Measured figures (views, reach, likes, shares) come from the Meta Graph API, post by post. A post Meta does not expose to us is marked Estimated, never passed off as measured, and research distributions leave estimates out.
- Research deduplicates posts by Instagram shortcode, so a crossover post on two dashboards counts once. A measured zero stays zero; a missing record stays missing.
- Views are cumulative lifetime readings, grouped by when a post was published, not when it was watched. A refresh never lowers a figure already measured.
- Each film page shows one audience figure, views or accounts reached, whichever is larger, labelled for what it is.

- Reels vs photos: Average (mean) views per post by format, all time. Quote it as an average; the benchmarks above give the medians.
- Genre benchmarks: Median campaign results by kind of Kannada film.
- Case studies: The largest campaigns explained from their own numbers, each labelled client collaboration or network coverage.
Using our data
- You are free to quote our figures and research. Credit "SouthSide Studio (southsidestudio.in)" and link to the specific dashboard, research article or report the figure comes from.
- Give the "as of" date: lifetime views keep rising after a post goes up, so any figure is a snapshot.
- Keep the metric label and the sample. Views are not unique people, an average is not a median, and publication month is not viewing month.
- Our figures describe posts on our network. They are not box-office, ticket or official producer numbers.
- A network-coverage dashboard is our pages' own coverage of a film; do not describe it as that film's campaign with us. Client collaborations are labelled on their case studies.
- Citing our figures covers our calculations only. The posts themselves, and the film, brand or creator material in them, belong to their owners.
- Corrections go to contact@southsidestudio.in; we correct the affected page.
