Lord Gaaga is an upcoming Kannada romantic psychological thriller written and directed by YK (Sunil Kumar YK), and the first production of Zero Gravity Films. The makers call Lord Gaaga a cult Indian romantic thriller, and on their site a psychedelic one. Shoonya plays the hero, his first lead role. He is better known as a director: Head Bush (2022) with Dhananjaya, and Rosy, Yogesh's 50th film. He has said he heard more than 45 stories before choosing this one.
Swaroopinii Narayan, who earlier worked as Aarohi Narayan in Drishya, Shivaji Surathkal and Drishya 2, and Disha Shetty play the female leads. Producer Muki Regunathan has a key role. The supporting cast includes Ramesh Badiger, Rangaswamy G, Gowtham Raj, Shamantha M N, Shivaprasad K V, Pavithra, Shwetha Rani and Poorvi R.

YK (Sunil Kumar YK), who directed Gilky (2022), wrote and directs the film. Muki Regunathan produces it as the first film of his new banner, Zero Gravity Films, in association with Shoonya; he is the founder of the Bengaluru design firm Pepper Square and credits himself as the film's strategist.
K Hemanth Kumar and Adil Nadaf compose the songs and Shiom the background score, with lyrics by V Nagendra Prasad, Vasuki Vaibhav and Pramod Maravante. Jeevan and Naveen are the cinematographers, Deepu S Kumar and Karthik Kumar N edit, Subasagouda R Patil is the art director and Vinod Kumar directs the stunts.

Lord Gaaga was shot over about 80 days, mostly around Gokarna, Udupi and Hassan, and the Gokarna monsoon cost the unit nearly a month. Around four and a half hours of footage was cut to a two-hour film that does not run in order. Before locking the edit the makers screened it to about 3,000 preview viewers and worked their feedback in. By October 2026 post-production was in its final stage, with the censor certificate next.
Zero Gravity Films revealed the title in Kannada on 11 and 12 September 2026, then released title launches in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Marathi, Bengali and Bhojpuri. The Kannada motion poster came out on 8 October 2026 at the film's first press meet in Bengaluru, with Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam versions on 19 October.
The Kannada title-launch video has passed 1 lakh views on YouTube, and the makers say the title videos have been seen by 4 million people across languages. A teaser and song launch is planned for 3 November 2026 at Good Shepherd Auditorium, Bengaluru.
