Shankarabharana trailer confirms a 20 November theatrical release

Ranggasthala Studios, the banner behind Shankarabharana, uploaded the film's official trailer to its own YouTube channel, and the clip closes on a card naming 20 November 2026 as the theatrical date. Kannada outlets carried the news the same morning, and the film's listing on Filmibeat shows the same day. That puts the opening about seventeen days from today.

The trailer sets the tone for a horror-comedy mystery. Shine Shetty plays a bus driver whose route through a forest road ends in a village where the locals talk about a haunting, and the footage cuts between jump scares and lighter, joking exchanges. Cinematography is by Udit Khurana, and Charan Raj handles the score, which carries much of the trailer's mood.

For the film's timeline, this follows a teaser that appeared in early September and an Aarambha lyrical song from the makers. Earlier listings on aggregator pages had carried other dates, including one in October, so the trailer card is the first place the makers themselves show the November opening. Sampath Kumar, Tanvi Ram, Anil Kumar A and Kriti Shetty are among the other names credited in the cast.
