Bombhai first glimpse out on Kannada Rajyotsava for Shashidhar's retro comedy
The makers of Bombhai, also written Bom Bhai, revealed the film's first glimpse on Kannada Rajyotsava, 1 November, in a reel on the Namma Sandalwood Instagram page. Shashidhar directs the 1980s-set comedy for PRF Studios, with Sharan, Diganth and Nishvika Naidu in the leads.

Bombhai picked Kannada Rajyotsava, the day the state marks its formation, for its first footage. The glimpse went up on the evening of 1 November as a reel on the Namma Sandalwood Instagram page, with a note greeting Kannadigas on the day and asking audiences to back the film as it takes its first step.
The film was launched with a muhurtha in September. It is the third film Shashidhar has directed, after Gharga and the multilingual thriller Ajagrata, and he has set it in the 1980s around three leads played by Sharan, Diganth and Nishvika Naidu. Vindhya Balaji Potharaj and Kantaraj are producing it for PRF Studios, and Deepak is the cinematographer.
Sharan and Nishvika Naidu were paired earlier in Guru Shishyaru, the 2022 sports drama. The first glimpse does not give a release date.
