Shabari is dated for 23 October as its trailer arrives on Lahari Music

Shabari now has a release date. The team set 23 October 2026 for a theatrical release across Karnataka and announced it at the film's trailer launch; the trailer itself was published on Lahari Music's YouTube channel on 8 October 2026 (IST). The trailer credits name Orata Shri as director, B.R Hemanth Kumar for the songs and background score, Samrat Nagraj as cinematographer and K. Girish Kumar as editor, with the audio rights held by Lahari Music.

Orata Shri, who earlier directed Kora and Orata I Love You, pitches Shabari as a family entertainer with suspense and mystery in it. In his telling, the plot turns on the bond between a father and his daughter, and an old jeep matters to the story as well. Newcomer Samarth leads opposite Kruthika Gowda, and child actor Dhanvi has a key part. Mandya Siddu, Yogesh Veer, Ninasam Ashwath, Seetha Harshavardhan and M.K. Mata round out the cast.

The trailer credits list Vishnukanth A, Sudhakar Reddy Yakasiri and Ramesh B (Samarth Ramesh) as producers, for the banner Bharavi Films (spelt Baravi Films in those credits). Shabari's earlier promotional drops were a teaser in July and the first single, 'Thandani Thaano', in August, released through Lahari Music. Post-production has wrapped, and the next date on the film's calendar is its theatrical opening on 23 October.
