Hubballi Hunters, Samarth Kadkol's film from Bell Bottom's producer, is dated for 11 December
Hubballi Hunters, directed by Samarth Kadkol and produced by Santhosh Kumar K.C. under Golden Horse Cinema, is set to open in theatres across Karnataka on 11 December 2026, Udayavani and Cinema Express reported on 18 October. Pramod Shetty and Achyuth Kumar are part of its ensemble cast.
Hubballi Hunters is dated for Friday, 11 December 2026, in theatres across Karnataka. Udayavani's cinema desk carried the date on the afternoon of 18 October and Cinema Express that evening. Santhosh Kumar K.C., who produced Bell Bottom in 2019, backs the film under Golden Horse Cinema; the January announcement called it the banner's return to production after a seven-year gap.
The project was announced in late January 2026 as a horror comedy drawn from Hubballi's humour and street life. Shooting opened with a muhurat in Hubballi and a 14-day first schedule in the city, moved to Sirsi for 22 days and closed with two days in Dharwad. The wrap was reported on 6 July, and Udayavani says a teaser and songs are being readied next.
The ensemble includes Pramod Shetty, Achyuth Kumar, Krishna Hebbale, Ramesh Bhat, Dhanyashree Sujith and Chetan Marambeed, and several social-media creators move to the big screen with it. Samarth Kadkol, whose previous film was Edagaiye Apaghatakke Karana, wrote the story and shares the dialogue credit with three co-writers, Chetan Marambeed among them. Sujith Sreedhar did the background score.
Pramod Shetty's earlier work is measured on SouthSide's Namma Sandalwood pages: two posts about Laughing Buddha (2024), in which he shared the lead with Teju Belawadi, drew 2.10 lakh views on its dashboard when we read it on 19 October 2026.
