Ramayana is a Hindi mythological film directed by Nitesh Tiwari, produced by Namit Malhotra and co-produced by Yash. Ranbir Kapoor plays Rama, Sai Pallavi plays Sita, Yash plays Ravana, Ravie Dubey plays Lakshman and Sunny Deol plays Hanuman. Prime Focus Studios and Monster Mind Creations are behind the two-part film, with visual effects by DNEG and music by Hans Zimmer and A. R. Rahman. Shridhar Raghavan and Nitesh Tiwari adapted the epic for the screenplay. The makers announced on 11 October 2026 that Part 1 releases worldwide on 5 November 2026, with a Kannada version alongside the Hindi original; Part 2 is scheduled for Diwali 2027.
