Guru Shishyaru is a 2022 Kannada sports drama directed by Jadesha K Hampi, starring Sharan as a temporary physical-education teacher who coaches a group of underprivileged village students in kho-kho. Set in the early 1990s, it was billed as Kannada's first kho-kho sports drama and was co-produced under Tharun Sudhir's creative banner alongside Sharan's Laddu Cinemas.
