Pruthvi Ram PM wrote and directs the film; Cinema Express calls him a newcomer, and Dear Baby is his first feature. It is produced by Local Talkies, the production house he founded, with Sumedha S Athreya as executive producer.
Navaneeth Sham composes the music, Ganesh Mahabala is the cinematographer, Shashank Narayana edits and SiriKrishna PM is the art director. Dilhip M Raaj directs the action and Manikanta Master the choreography; Sync Cinema does the sound design, Aravind Menon the audiography and Swaroop Bhat the visual effects. Local Talkies built up to the title with a guess-the-title campaign on Instagram from 13 October 2026, revealing a clue at a time (it begins with D; the first word is Dear) before a Dasara announcement. The title teaser released on D Beats' YouTube channel at 9:45 am on 21 October 2026 and passed 20,000 views within three days; the title-teaser post on the film's own Instagram drew more than 1,000 likes.
D Beats, the audio company of composer V. Harikrishna and producer Shylaja Nag, is distributing the film's music, and Navaneeth Sham's title theme was released on music platforms the same day. Cinema Express, The New Indian Express and The Times of India covered the reveal.
